"Come into Trevor's and lift your spirits!"©
In a small brick building, located between 3rd. and 4th. Streets, in San
Rafael,California you will find Trevor's Pub.
The building at 927 Tamalpais Avenue was built in 1927, for Charles Van Damme, to house The San Rafael-Richmond Ferry Ticket Office.
A bar has been at this address for over 70 years (Beeman's Tavern 1937). Before Trevor's Pub was established in 1988 the building housed The San Rafael-Richmond Ferry Ticket Office 1927-?, Beeman's Tavern 1937-1942,Alex's Sandwich Shop1952-?,The Barrel House 1965-1987 and Angelo's 1987-1988.
Since it's establishment in 1988 Trevor's Pub has become a local gathering place for an eclectic group of people not only from San Rafael but from all over the world.
For many years Trevor's Pub featured top name bands and artists from around the Bay Area.......7 nights a week. We no longer have live music having opted for a "Cheers" type environment where friends can meet and talk.
Just around the corner on 4th.Street is the Fourth Street Tavern where hot local bands perform every night. Many customers enjoy a somewhat quieter atmosphere at Trevor's either before, during or after a show at the Tavern.
Although we are not a sports bar "per se" we are always happy to show any sports event, subject to availablity....just ask the bartender.
Within easy walking distance from Trevor's Pub are some of the best restaurants in Marin County;Italian,French,Thai,Mexican,Puerto Rican,Indian,Chinese,American,New Wave,Danish.......it's all here in San Rafael !
The San Rafael Transportation Terminal is a short half block down from the Pub which makes it a convenient respite for the weary traveler and a great alternative from driving.
Trevor's Pub is a true neighborhod bar; family owned for over 22 years. We care about our neighborhood and the beautiful City of San Rafael. The Pub is a well lighted place to relax, meet friends and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere.
Trevor's Pub has been referred to as "San Rafael's living room" emphasized by the brick fireplace and cozy atmosphere...........we hope to see you soon!
